The Town of Yarmouth has advised TCRCE of a number of upcoming road closures and detours that will occur as work continues on an infrastructure project on Parade Street. These detours are scheduled to begin Thursday, September 16, 2021, and last for approximately three weeks. This is a large detour area and the options for alternate routes are expected to be congested. As a result, we anticipate significant disruptions to bus routes at the following schools: Yarmouth Elementary, Meadowfields, Maple Grove, and Yarmouth High. Delays are expected to both morning and afternoon routes.
The following information has been provided by the Town of Yarmouth:
As work continues on the green infrastructure project on Parade Street, please be advised of the following street closures and detours as we head toward the final stages of work:

➡ Parade Street between Clements Avenue and Th’Yarc will be closed to local traffic only.
➡ Pleasant Street between Cliff Street and Parade Street will be closed to local traffic only.
➡ Pleasant Street between Porter Street and Parade Street will be closed to local traffic only.
➡ Parade Street between School Street and Pleasant Street will remain closed.
➡ Large commercial traffic is advised to use Forest Street to enter the Downtown core.
➡ Collins Street and Seminary Street will continue to serve as two-way streets until further notice.
If you are driving in this area, please make note of these closures and changes and plan alternate routes. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we continue work on this sewer separation project.
