The Regional Executive Director is seeking expression of interests to join TCRCE’s Regional Student Advisory Council.
The Regional Student Advisory Council will provide the Regional Executive Director of Education with information and advice on topics such as achievement and well-being, and other aspects of student experiences, especially as it relates to the Student Success Survey.
Membership:
● The Regional Student Advisory Committee will be appointed by the Regional Executive Director of Education
● Membership will be sought through an expression of interest from current students in grades 9-12
● Membership will include 4 students from each of the tri-counties
● Membership will include up to two students from each high school
● Consideration should be given to include representation from: Mi’kmaw/Indigenous communities, people of African descent, 2SLGBTGQIA+ communities, newcomers, disability communities, and any other groups as appropriate to represent regional diversity
